Our Story
A room built around patience
Chandhira began with a simple observation: many owners bring in a watch not because it has failed, but because something about it has quietly changed. It runs a little fast, or has stopped keeping the rhythm it once had. We wanted a place where that kind of concern could be met calmly, without rushing anyone toward a decision.
The studio sits in Lumphini, set up as what we call a calibration room — a bench with good, even light and a settled, unhurried atmosphere. Every watch that arrives, whether it is worn daily or kept for special occasions, is given the same careful attention before any work is discussed.
Our approach draws on traditional watchmaking discipline paired with plain, honest conversation. We assess first, explain what we find, and only then talk about what might help. Nothing is undertaken without the owner understanding why.
Over time, this has meant working with a wide range of pieces — everyday watches that have simply drifted out of accuracy, and treasured heirlooms that deserve a slower, more complete kind of attention. Whatever the watch, our aim stays the same: steady hands, clear information, and a result that runs the way it should.

In Our Own Words
Watchmaking as a quiet discipline
Watch repair in Bangkok covers a wide spectrum, from quick battery changes to the extended overhaul of complicated mechanical pieces. Chandhira focuses on the latter end of that spectrum without losing sight of everyday owners who simply want their watch to run true again.
A movement that loses or gains a few minutes a week is not broken in any dramatic sense; it is simply asking for attention. Cleaning, lubrication, and timing adjustment address the great majority of these cases, while seal renewal protects the piece against moisture in Bangkok's climate.
For older or rarely serviced watches, a longer process of disassembly and observation allows us to understand the movement fully before deciding what parts, if any, need renewal. This patience is, in our view, what separates considered watch care from work done in haste.
